Milan, a day for shopping

Pertaining to this materialistic society, shopping can bring us happiness. What else we can pursue other than this philosophy? This is a complicated issue that I could never resolve. However, if there is nothing else, material probably the only thing you could hold on.

Venice again!

 

Venice is a place where I fell in love with since my first visit, dated back 1999 summer. Until now, I have  been here 4 times, but still I was totally enchanted by this city's charisma and  ambiance. The wish I made at the second visit was granted (but it seems god played a joke with me).

Still the same Venice, beautiful as before, but myself no longer same as before. I hope I can return here someday before it sinks to the bottom of the sea, one more abrazo before it becomes an invisible city.

Positano

  

Watching firework at the beach... wondering is magic happening again? How could this amazing things happen to me again. It is just not real, not real in my world. It must be a dream!

Ravello

 

 

Ravello is very small town which they have music festival yearly in June. It was not many tourist there. One day excursion from Amalfy. It only takes 30 mins bus. But buying the bus ticket is a trouble. Should have got the return tickets from where you leave, since only very few tobacco shops there sell tickets.

Amalfi

Feast of St. Andrea, the patron Saint of Amalfi, on June 27, the city remembers how Saint Andrea saved the city from the clutches of the evil pirate. Fire works on that night while I was having dinner at Grand Hotel Convento up on the hill of the coast. This was a memorable moment ever.

Pompeii city

 

 

A city used to be hidden underneath the volcano dust for centuries, it is now displayed for every tourist. Visited it at a baking hot day. Well equipped with hat, sunglasses and long sleeves shirt.

Sorrento

 

A long journey from Assisi to Napoli, in order to transfer to Sorrento. I was reading the book "Have a little faith" by Mitch Albom on the train. It was heartbreaking to read the last few chapters. I was despaired, and unable to stop my tears shed. The girl sitting opposite gazed at me with curiosity. I wish I could be alone and not letting others stare at me. It was an embarrassing moment.

 

Saw the sunset and a couple had their wedding photo shooting at the shore of Sorrento.  It was a beautiful moment.

Assisi

 

 

Travelling make you see this whole big world, I feel that myself is such a tiny object like a dust on earth. Probably no one realise when I vanish someday. The basilica will be standing here in Assisi still.
